Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: August 12, 2024
Welcome to the website of Doherty Services LLC (“Doherty Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the information and services made available through it.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. About Doherty Services
Doherty Services LLC provides solar panel detach and reinstall services and related solar services in Texas.
Information provided on this website is intended to provide general information about our company and services. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer, contract, warranty, or guarantee unless expressly stated in a written agreement executed by Doherty Services.
2. Estimates and Service Requests
Submitting a contact form, requesting an estimate, calling, emailing, or otherwise contacting Doherty Services does not create a contractual relationship or obligate Doherty Services to perform services.
Estimates may be based on information available at the time they are prepared, including photographs, plans, solar system information, roof information, site conditions, or information supplied by customers, contractors, or other third parties.
Final pricing and scope may change if actual site conditions, system configuration, roof conditions, access requirements, electrical conditions, equipment, labor requirements, or other circumstances differ from the information originally provided.
Any project-specific terms will be governed by the applicable estimate, proposal, work authorization, service agreement, subcontract, or other written agreement.
3. Solar Equipment and Existing Systems
Solar photovoltaic systems contain electrical and mechanical components that may have been installed, modified, repaired, or serviced by third parties before Doherty Services becomes involved.
Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, Doherty Services does not guarantee the condition, performance, compatibility, or remaining useful life of pre-existing solar equipment.
Any warranties provided by Doherty Services will be governed by the written warranty or service agreement applicable to the specific project.
Manufacturer warranties are provided by the applicable manufacturer and are subject to that manufacturer's terms and conditions.
4. Roofing and Third-Party Contractors
Doherty Services may perform services in connection with roofing contractors, insurance-related projects, general contractors, homeowners, suppliers, manufacturers, or other third parties.
Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, Doherty Services is not responsible for the acts, omissions, workmanship, representations, scheduling, or contractual obligations of independent third parties.
